Charles + Mary Hulgraine Established the Ballsbridge Gallery in 2013- beside Ballsbridge Post Office.
We were initially inspired by the ROSC Art exhibition in the RDS in 1967 – which showed the work of international artists to an innocent Dublin public.
Decision in 2010 to permanently display artworks at the Gallery; origional paintings, drawings,colláge drawings , etchings/prints + sculpture.
CH (Charlie) paints + creates mainly from his Art Studio in West Dublin.
We incorporated our Planning + Architectural Practice into Artmaking which substantially influenced the CH Art direction + path henceforth.
Painted extensively in southern Spain + Italy during 2013 – 2015,displayed works at BB Gallery also in Malaga Spain.
Completed various Urban works developing the impact of urban Planning into newly built landscapes and incomplete buffer zones.
Prepared for a major Exhibition of paintings during 2016.. ’11 Garrisons 1916′ at Dublin Ambasssador venue.(Irish Revolution). 2016

CH gave various radio + promotional interviews 2016 – 2019 landmarking the Ballsbridge Gallery.

Ballsbridge Gallery continued to show dissimilar Artworks + landscapes on the foregoing subjects and anything else catching our attention.
The adjoining Post Office building was sold in 2026 ..Planning was obtained to redevelop as a bar/cafe…this may change the dynamic outside.
We’ll see.
